Reaper's Valley was developed in Unity3D for PC. Its was made for Game Jam Titans 2014 on a team of 4 using Unity3D in 48 hours. I worked on Core Gameplay, Menu System and HUD as well. The game won the Game Jam in Bangalore. It was an awesome experience participating in Game Jam Titans. Unlike other jams, this jam was a competition. One of the best thing about these game jams is the learning outcome. I learned from other participants. And others learned from me as well. It was fun fixing bugs in my own and other's games. It enhanced my skills of working in team. Another important thing about this jam was Socialising. I got to meet new people and learn from them. As soon as we got the theme for the jam, we were kind of stuck with the concepts. The themes were Death and Childhood. We were worried about our concept misleading from the theme provided. After Brainstorming for few hours, we finalised the concept. I started working on the development aspect asap. Majority of the core mechanics was programmed on the 1st night of the jam. However, there were lot of bugs in the code, which got fixed on the next day. Art was implemented in the 2nd night of the jam. All the minor bugs were fixed few hours before submitting the game. It was awesome working in team. We went on a walk when we needed a break. Breaks were important to refresh the mind. It was an awesome experience building a game in 2 days. My team works better under pressure. Thanks to all my teammates, without them it wasn't possible to win this jam. Now, we need to Polish the same game, add new mechanics and showcase the game at GDC Pune. So, see you at GDC. Below are few in-game screenshots Award Winning Ceremony
